Try Going Gluten Free

I’m sure you’ve aware of the gluten-free trend that’s popular among holistic health and wellness practitioners. But do you know why so many (myself included) promote a gluten free diet?

It’s estimated that up to 80 percent of the population has some sort of intestinal permeability and gut microbe deficiency, which can make digesting the proteins found in wheat especially problematic.

The bread you buy at the grocery store is not the same wheat that your grandparents and great-grandparents ate.

  • It has 3X the gluten in it

  • It is highly sprayed with glyphosate = tremendous inflammation in the body and is damaging to the intestinal wall (whose job is to keep food you eat within your digestive system, not start wandering all over the body via you bloodstream).

  • Many people don’t think they have a gluten sensitivity because they don’t experience what they think are the ‘classic symptoms’ of gluten intolerance stomach pain, bloating, bowel issues, etc.

But, here’s the thing. That’s not the case for some people, myself included.

According to Dr, David Perlmutter a renowned neurologist, an estimated 99 percent of people whose immune systems react negatively to gluten don’t even know it.

This is also true for women experiencing major symptoms of PMS, perimenopause and menopause such as migraines, psoriasis, thyroid issues, brain fog, digestive troubles and more.

According to Dr. Peter Osborne “The removal of gluten often times resolves hormone imbalance.”

You need to get creative with a gluten free diet, educate yourself and commit 100%.

That’s where these yummy sweet potato ‘toasts’ come in (see photos)

The combos are endless!
